Have you always dreamed of finding yourself in the place of Hansel and Gretel (witch less) in a house made of your favorite candy? Your wish is granted! The first hotel made entirely from cakes opened its doors in London for a single night. It is the result of the work of over 14 artists who took 2000 hours to shape more than 600 pounds of sugar. Guests can enjoy covered macaroons walls, lying on a carpet of meringues, or take a caramel popcorn bath. Built to promote a new range of Tate & Lyle Sugars, the hotel is edible on three floors and eight rooms.
Pour ceux qui ne pourront pas aller à Londres, vous pouvez toujours vous contenter de ces jolis posters de Hansel et Gretel revisités!
Ou alors on peut aussi se prendre pour Gretel avec la collection de Red Valentino FW2013!
______
For those who won’t be able to go to London, you can always hang those pretty Hansel and Gretel posters on your walls!
You can also dress up as Gretel with Red Valentino’s new collection FW 2013!
A few weeks ago, I spent a sunny weekend in Lisbon, Portugal. I discovered a beautiful city, combining tradition and modernity, with its tiles sometimes covered with graffiti, its sloping streets, its old tram, amazing views of the sea, its cod and grilled chicken. Here are my essential adresses!
♥ Restaurante Os Jeronimos
Rua Belém 74
Nice Portuguese specialties, next to the pasteis.
♥ Jardim Botanico de Ajuda
Calçada da Ajuda
Also in the district of Belem, we take a breath of fresh air in this beautiful park between the palm trees, ducks and peacocks.
♥ Castelo de Sao Jorge
Rua das Flores de Santa Cruz
From these ruins dating from the sixth century BC, the city offers its most beautiful panorama. We walk between orange blossom trees and majestic peacocks.
♥ Manteigaria Silva
Rua dom antao de almada 1
In this typical grocery store, one hesitates between cheese, guava paste and Iberian ham. Finally we take everything!
♥ Restaurante Solar Dos Presuntos
Rua portas de sto antao 150
You choose your fish and the waiters prepare in front of you. You can enjoy the famous cod, octopus or lobster.
♥ 100 maneiras
rua do texeira 35
In the kitchen, the chef Ljubomir Stanisic proposes a unique 45 euros menu with 9 dishes. The atmosphere is enjoyable and the supper was generally very well done.
♥ Petiscaria Ideal
Rua da esperança 100
Delicious Portuguese tapas, ricotta filled eggplant, ham bruschetta, tomato octopus. You can also eat next door at their other restaurant Taverna Ideal.

Perhaps you already knew this pretty makeup line launched by Ladurée, Les Merveilleuses, exclusively for Japan? The good news is that it will be available in France at the end of the year! The site pretty and girly, colors and packaging are so cute and mouthwatering, very inspired by the Faberge eggs (and a little by Paul & Joe makeup line too, which I love!), declined in pink ombre colors like macaroons!
