Le Square Gardette, a hidden restaurant in the small streets of the 11ème, with his grandma-vintage looks (wooden skis, stuffed animals, old books…) was inaugurated recently by Dina and Julien, previsouly at Costes, and Sébastien Jaudeau, with chef Masahide Ikuta from Kobe. For starters, we’ll have a Jerusalem artichoke velouté with foie gras and poched egg (I’ve told you about this one here), to continue a not so convincing ras el hanout, and to end on a perfect note, the tasty and acid lemon meringue tartelette. All this for 30 euros, and you can return there for lunch for only 14! The only problem being…it’s always almost full!
