This is a recipe higly inspired from Cyril Lignac‘s recipe book.
The Ingredients
- 4 rennet apples
- 1 lemon
- 4 slices of gingerbread
- 50g of butter (take it out of the frige 30 minutes before)
- 30g of brown sugar
- 60g of crushed almonds
- 15cl of cider
The Recipe
- Clean the apples and take the cores out.
- With a knife, make incisions in the apple’s skin vertically.
- Crumble the gingerbread and mix it with the butter to obtain a soft paste.
- Add the sugar and the almonds.
- Fill the apples with it, and sprinkle them with honey, the lemon juice and cider.
- Put in the oven for 30-45 minutes depending on the apple type, at 180℃ (th. 6)
- Serve with a cinnamon or gingerbread ice-cream and some rosemary.
