Miss Ko

Sometimes, when a designer creates a space such as a restaurant, the taste goes out the window. This is not the case with Miss Ko: as propelled into a bustling street of Hong Kong, we find ourselves in the middle of a mural of zombies (drawn by David Rochline who also designed the plates), sinuous neons, roof of flamboyant umbrellas and table made of screens that never ends, a crazy dream imagined by Philippe Starck. In the kitchen, Executive Chef Fabrice Monot, Linda Rodriguez (Bond Street New York, Las Vegas Hachi ) and Martin Swift (Nobu London) propose revisited sushi (tataki smoked salmon, lobster and mango), leek gyoza and tempura shrimps. Special mention to the incredible beef tataki and its ginger puree served at will mention. The desserts are just as good, either the Himalayan Emperor (yuzu and white chocolate meringue dome), red fruit yuzu cheesecake, or even a simple fruit salad with mint and Szechuan berries.
