Quel bon début de journée de fêtes! Je me suis fait réveiller par un gros carton plein de chips! D’ailleurs j’ai aussi gagné un autre concours, celui organisé par A Chicken In the Kitchen...un super thé Mariage Frères que j’attends sous mon sapin, sans parler de la cocotte Staub que j’ai gagnée il y a quelques mois mais qui se fait toujours un peu attendre : )
Mon bonheur ne s’arrête pas là…Aller acheter une pintade in extremis chez le boucher se révélait être un défi compliqué. Pas de problème, c’est ma journée de chance, une belle pintade que je vais farcir aux marrons et au foie gras, hop dans mon panier (j’ai d’ailleurs préparé cette recette en vidéo, mais malheureusement elle est encore en plein montage…). Une fois arrivée à mon supermarché pas très glamour, je découvre avec bonheur un assortiment incroyable de nouveaux fruits et légumes! Des fleurs de courgette (youpi, à 3,99 euros la barquette au lieu de 15 à la Grande Epicerie!), des ramboutans, mangoustans, rhubarbe, mûres, cranberries fraîches,… Bon vous me direz que tout ça n’est pas très écologique vu la destination des pays…Mais soyons fous, aujourd’hui c’est Noël! Allez, je vais faire cuire ma pintade.

What a nice beginning of a day…I was woken up by the postman bringing me a box full of chips that I’ve won! I also won another contest this week, organized by A Chicken In the Kitchen, a Mariage Frères tea that I’m longing for under my Christmas tree, not to talk about the Staub casserole pot which I won a while ago and am still waiting for : )
My happiness doesn’t stop here…To go buy a guinea-fowl in extremis on Christmas day was a hard task. But I am a lucky girl today, thus a nice one found its way in my shopping bag this morning, which I will stuff with chestnuts and foie gras (you know, our French deluxe “pâté” :)). I actually prepared this recipe in video by the editing is taking more time than I thought… : /
My morning continues at my local and not very glamourous supermarket, where I was more excited than ever when I discovered a whole new range of fruits and vegetables…Zucchini blossoms (and a very decent price), rhubarb, mangostan, rambutan, blackberries, fresh cranberries,… Well you might probably say this is not very ecological considering all the different country destination…but le’ts be honest, it’s Christmas!!
