To stay in the tile theme, let’s talk about Mutina, who just launched a new serie of printed tiles designed by Inga Sempé. Made of glazed porcelain stoneware, the tiles can bu used inside or outside, and the different patterns can be played by combination in order to create infinite drawings.

Moonrise Kingdom

You probably already know the passion I have for Wes Anderson (The Life Aquatic or The Grand Budapest Hotel), I love his universe, his concern for aesthetics and decors, especially in the nostalgic and touching Moonrise Kingdom. Either you’re a Sam or a Suzy, let’s hop on and leave for a trip…

Like a color

Are you tired of your old kitchen walls, but do not have the faith, neither the time nor the money to redo all the work? I discovered a great way to change the tiles and give it a facelift in 5 minutes! With Like a Color, you simply order the number of tiles you want by indicating their dimensions, and choose from their wide range of colors (matte or glossy). You can even customize your Ikea furniture, Home, or request custom stickers. And do not worry, the installation is so easy, and the stickers can be removed with water! I chose the Ice Blue and the Dark Grey reference and the result is really breathtaking!

Talde

That’s it guys, I’m back at work and on the blog! I still have a lot of articles falling behind, such as my CITY GUIDES, they take so much time to write! I’d love to tell you about my trip to Australia, I have lots of good places to share with you. I also have a few restaurants I discovered recently in New York, like this one right here. I noticed that when I travel, the best thing to do if you’re looking for a nice restaurant, is to ask people you meet in the street, that’s how I discover little gems that are not in guides. Talde in Brooklyn (Park Slope) is one of them. With extravagant originality, chef David Talde and partners David Massoni and John Bush, invite us to discover a true fusion of Eastern and Western flavors like this surprising crispy chicken skin salad with strawberries and snow peas, or this kale salad with persimmon, pickled beets and candied almonds. Food and Wine even wrote that they had the best chicken wings in the US!
