Apple and ginger crumble

Crumble is really my trademark, this dessert takes a few minutes to make and can be endlessly creative. I like this apple and fresh ginger version, that can be pimped with pieces of dark chocolate. In summer, you can throw in apricots, peaches, strawberries, blackeberries… It’s a good zero waste option when your fruits start to be too ripe or damaged!

Ingredients

– 150g of flour or for gluten-free option, 100g of rice flour + 50g of corn flour
– 90g of butter
– 100g of sugar
– 3 apples or 2 apples + 1 pear
– 1 large piece of ginger

Recipe

Mix the flour, sugar, softened butter in pieces, with the grated ginger. Do not mix too much, you have to keep large pieces.
In a dish, place the peeled and diced apples. Cover with the crumble dough. (You can add in chocolat chips into the apples.)
Bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for at least 30 to 45 minutes, until the crumble is golden.
