It’s funny how accidents can finally reveal some nice findings. I was starting my tart’s preparation the other day when…not enough butter, and no flour left. I finally found some chestnut flour which I decided to use without conviction. Well my friends, this was pretty good, not bad at all.
The Ingredients
– 100g flour
– 150g chestnut flour
– 150g chestnut flour
– 80g butter
– 1 egg
– 90 g sugar
– 1 pinch of salt
– 1 egg
– 90 g sugar
– 1 pinch of salt
– 1 lemon
– 5 peaches
The Recipe
- Put the flour in a salad bowl and make a sort of hole in it. In another bowl, mix the sugar, salt and egg.
- Pour this mixture into the flour with the lemon zest, and mix.
- Add the butter (soft not melted) into little pieces, and knead firmly with your hands.
- Make a ball and spread it with a rolling pin. Put it into a buttered tart mold.
- Cut the peaches into quarters and put them on the paste like a spiral. Sprinkle with almonds.
- Bake for about 30 minutes at T.7 (180℃)
