This is not the real carbonara recipe, because the Italians don’t use any cream in it, but I also like it that way!
The Ingredients (for 2)
-250 g Fusilli
-15 cl liquid cream
-1 stock-cube
-100 g bacon cubes
-100 g de Portobello mushrooms
-1 egg yolk
-1 oignon
The Recipe
- Grill your bacon cubes in a pan. Put aside.
- Throw the oil away, and bake your chopped oignon and sliced mushrooms.
- Cook your pasta al dente, with the stock-cube in the water.
- In a large bowl, mix the egg yolk and the cream. Add the mushrooms, oignons and bacon.
- While you drain your pasta, keep half a glass of the water.
- Put the pasta in the bowl, mix, and slowly add the water and stir again.
- Serve with grated parmesan.
